SpouseLink is always proud to be part of events that honor our Military. SpouseLink Ambassador Angel recently attended the May 2018 Memorial Day Run and March at Fort Carson, CO, and took several photos of the event activities to share with us from soldiers on the move to the winner of her special AAFMAA giveaway to one lucky winner who stopped by her booth. He even happened to already be an AAFMAA Member! He won a summer BBQ Fun Day package, created specially by Angel. She also noted:
“The main idea for this event is to collect non-perishable food to be able to divide between certain organizations to help feed homeless Veterans. If a servicemember registered and completed the 30K with a ruck holding 25 pounds of non-perishable food, they would receive the Norwegian Medal that they can wear on their uniform.”
That sounds very worthwhile to us, and we’re grateful Angel was there to participate.
