For this week’s Healthy Living Series, I wanted to talk about an experience I recently had. My husband and I went rock climbing for the first time. Once we both overcame our nerves, we realized that it was a great way to build trust and step out of our comfort zones. I realized, when you open yourself up to other ways of staying active, you may just find a new passion! The experience was a great arm workout and overall calorie crusher….did you know that you can burn 780 calories in an hour of rock climbing?! New experiences like this are also great for the whole family to enjoy together.  Overall, I’d say it was a success that I’d highly recommend.   What are some other family fitness ideas that you want to try?
