Finance and money management can be daunting. Luna Jaffe‘s new book Wild Money: A Creative Journey to Financial Wisdom looks at financial topics from a more creative perspective, allowing you to become more involved with your money by viewing it as an appealingly creative venture.
To give you a bit of background on this revolutionary thinker: Jaffe worked as a visual artist for 10 years, eventually returning to earn her graduate degree in psychology, and then landing a role as a financial planner. Her varied experiences and enthusiasm about thinking outside of the box have led her to create a highly successful, multi-million dollar company. Her financial approach is intended to illustrate and explain financial principals as a work of art or story, rather than technical jargon and charts.
She feels that there are many emotions that come with money, and there are ways to channel these emotions when dealing with finances to make the most of what you have and what you and your family earn.
Wild Money is definitely an eye-opening book that’s worth a read. If you feel that you’re more creatively minded, it will, more than likely resonate with your thought process. Even if you enjoy the more mathematical, technical aspect of your funds, a different point of view may give you some additional insight into the more traditional habits involving your money.
