SofiaAlejandra9 has seen her share of military moves. From Colorado to Belgium to Washington, she and her family have learned a few things about PCSing. Here are her top 3 tips for you to keep in mind while preparing for your next relocation.

1 . Don’t procrastinate

Once your service member gets their PCS orders, start planning from that moment.

2. Make lists

The housing department will give you a list for your house. From there, make lists of things you want to get rid of, things you want to pack and things you want to take with you.

3. Don’t stress out

If you can schedule something everyday leading up to your PCS, it will make things easier.  Take it bit by bit and you’ll get a lot done.
