Miss Utah’s Viral Fumble

It can’t be easy to parade around a stage while millions of viewers and a panel of judges examine your every move. Adrenaline pumping and the attention focusing in on her, 21-year old Marissa Powell froze during the Q & A portion of the pageant. Miss Utah’s answer was a series of disconnected thoughts, the uncertainty and nerves were apparent in her expression. That didn’t keep her from taking home the prize for 3rd runner up in the contest.  Her little snafu also earned her a viral YouTube video that has been viewed over 6.5 million times!
