Trying to find a job is overwhelming. The last thing you want to do is be running out to the store  to find the perfect outfit for an interview the next day. This video gives some great tips on the essentials that should always be in your closet. There are a couple key pieces that will let you be prepared for a job interview at any moment. Keep in mind that name brands can easily be replaced by less expensive alternatives. The reality is, you’ll look just as fabulous in a Target black blazer ($35) as the next girl in the Calvin Klein one ($139). Although, do keep in mind you can find amazing steals on name brands during department store sales (like Macy’s) and at outlet malls. If you’re stuck on base, there is always the option of online shopping through any store out there as well as eBay. Here are the basics you should keep in your closet:

• Black pants
• Black skirt
• Black blazer
• Silk button down shirt (try a pop of color like fuchsia or teal)
• White button down shirt
• Sleevless cami (white or silver)
• Black pumps or kitten heels
• Basic leather handbag (check out TJMaxx or Marshalls)
