In October of 2012, Sgt. Kyle Snyder’s squad was attacked by a suicide bomber who killed 3 U.S. soldiers and 16 Afghans. Many others were injured, including Sgt. Snyder who sustained leg injuries, Traumatic Brain Injury and later developed PTSD.  Still on the road to recovery, Sgt. Snyder is working to help other wounded soldiers with the North Carolina National Guard Wounded Warrior Program. Something beautiful happened to Sgt. Snyder and his family during a 2015 New York Life ACC Basketball Tournament. They were presented with a custom built home courtesy of Operation Coming Home – a program dedicated to honor the sacrifices of our nation’s heroes by providing them with homes of their own at no cost. Isn’t it fantastic to see good things like this happen people who truly deserve them?!
