After 144 days on the International Space Station, a remake of David Bowie’s Space Oddity and over 6.5 million YouTube views, Chris Hadfield and fellow astronauts have landed safely in Kazakhstan. During his 5-month float in orbit, Commander Hadfield recorded a cover version of the 1969 hit and an accompanying music video.  Shot 230 miles above earth, this viral hit became the first music video to actually take place in outer space.  Hadfield  also gained over 900,000 Twitter followers during his out-of-this-world adventure due to the incredible photos of Earth he shared through Tweets.
