Drunk Driver Confesses in Online Video

Remember PostSecret.com?  One man took their lead and recently turned to becauseisaidiwould.com to confess one of his darkest secrets on video.  Matthew Cordle recently posted a confession online, against the advice of his attorneys. After a night of heavy drinking in June, 22-year-old Matthew decided to drive home. After turning into oncoming traffic on an Ohio interstate, he struck an oncoming Jeep, hitting and killing his 61-year-old victim Vincent Canzani, a Navy veteran and father. His former wife released a statement that she forgives Cordle and respects his bravery and honesty in confessing. With the knowledge that his actions can’t be reversed or excused, Matthew has decided to turn himself into police while warning others not to make the same irresponsible mistakes that he has made. He now faces up to 8 years in prison.   What are your thoughts in response to this video?
