Rachel, a videoblogger for the Cutecolourfulcrafts series, inspired us to make this super simple and adorable orange candle. It’s a budget-friendly decoration idea for your next party, or just to help you relax around the house.

Supplies

  • Orange
  • Olive Oil
  • Sharp paring knife
  • Lighter

Directions

  1. Run the knife around the edges of the orange, only cutting through the peel.
  2. Remove the peel from the fruit being careful not to tear.
  3. Once the peel is removed, pour enough olive oil into the bottom of the peel, coating the bottom.
  4. Light the stem at the bottom which will act as a wick.
Burn until the skin of the orange begins to turn black. Once the skin begins to scorch, it’s time to throw it out and make another!
