Disney Hires Vets

Disney is not only a magical place for the family – it’s a place where Vets can find a job. Disney President and CEO Bob Iger announced a new company-wide initiative to hire, train and support returning veterans called Heroes Work Here. Disney will:

• Provide at least 1,000 jobs, career opportunities for returning US Vets over the next three years.
• Support Military families and Vets transitioning into civilian life.
• Launch a national public awareness campaign to encourage job opportunities for Vets.

Disney will also invest in select nonprofit organizations that provide training and other support services for Vets, while Disney VoluntEARS will lend their time and talents to the effort through service projects with Vets’ organizations across the country. Find more information here.
