You may have heard of the powerhouse that is Dara Torres. She’s an American international swimmer and a 12-time Olympic medalist. She’s also the oldest swimmer at age 41 to ever earn a place on the US Olympic team. At the 2008 Summer Olympics, she competed in the 50-meter freestyle, 4x 100-meter medley relay, and 4x 100-meter freestyle relay, winning silver medals in all three events. She’s the author of Age is Just a Number: Achieve Your Dreams at Any Stage in Your Life and Gold Medal Fitness: A Revolutionary 5-Week Program. We think she’s fabulous and hope to see her kick some but in London!
