Twenty-three states now have laws to address problems Spouses face when trying to transfer their job licensing to other states. The teachers, child care workers, nurses, physical therapists, and counselors among us know it best. It’s a huge headache to move your profession with you.
According to an article on MilitaryTimes.com, the Defense Department’s state liaison office has been working on this issue since 2008. An estimated 100,000 Military Spouses are affected by this, and we still have 27 more states to go. Let’s keep the momentum going!
