Fort Carson knows how to do Octoberfest for Military Families! On October 13, 2018, SpouseLink Ambassador Angel rode into Iron Horse Park, Fort Carson, CO, loaded with information, inspiration and giveaways from SpouseLink and AAFMAA.
What was on tap? For starters, attendees could take part in the Beer Olympics, which featured a bunch of different games that included… you guessed it.. beer. The grown-ups could also take advantage of a giant beer pong, plus cornhole fun, while the kids got to have their faces painted, jump around in the bounce houses, play games, and run through an obstacle course.
When all that activity got them hungry, these MilFams had their choice of food trucks. A final note of fun was a Halloween costume contest. Angel noted that “it was a great turn out even though it was cold and windy”.
