2013 Military Child of the Year Award

Nominations are open for  Operation Homefront’s 2013 Military Child of the Year awards, which recognize Military children who have shown resilience and strength of character and who thrive in the face of the challenges of Military life. Winners from the Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps and Navy will each receive $5,000 and a laptop, and will be flown with a parent or guardian to Washington, D.C., for a recognition ceremony on April 11. Nominations are accepted online through Dec. 15, 2012. Children from ages 8 to 18 are eligible.
