Military Spouse Advocacy Network (MSAN) announced the launch of their website and network of volunteers today. MSAN is an initiative to empower military spouses and provide them with a stronger support system at their military installations across the country and abroad.

Military Spouse Advocacy Network (MSAN) announced the launch of their website and network of volunteers today. MSAN is an initiative to empower military spouses and provide them with a stronger support system at their military installations across the country and abroad. MSAN provides information about resources, benefits, education choices and opportunities, classes, trainings, webinars and more. We mentor spouses on how and where to find a job, provide guidance and support for military families with special needs, assist in resiliency through deployments and re-integrations, provide assistance for male spouses, and give the support that is needed to assist a spouse at all life stages.
MSAN is partnering with organizations such as: Armed Forces Insurance- Military Spouse of the Year Program®, Military Spouse Magazine, Air Force Association, Military Spouse Education Initiative, Tillman Troops, Esposas Militares Hispanas USA Armed Forces, American Military Families Autism Support, Homefront United Network, Military Special Needs Network, and Macho Spouse to supplement and replace resources that might be affected by budget cuts and government shutdowns. No military spouse and family deserve to go a day without the needed resources available to assist them.
MSAN is working hard to have at least one MSAN Advocate along with MSAN volunteers at each and every military installation to work directly with spouses, installation agencies, military leaders, local agencies, and organizations that support MSAN’s goals.
MSAN advocates are also military spouses, and their mission is to empower, educate, and assist their fellow spouses. Further, they will assist military leaders with devising solutions to fulfill the needs at their military installations and advocates will educate and work with local civilian agencies to establish relationships that are beneficial for military families and for civilians.
MSAN’s Advisory Board includes; Col. Chris Bargery, Commander, 65th Air Base Wing, LT Col Tony Castillo, Commander, 49th Security Forces Squadron, Chief Master Sergeant Scott Bowermaster, and Mrs. Paula Roy Director of Airmen and Families Programs, Air Force Association. They will advise MSAN on dealing with challenges involving military policies and advocacy.

MSAN is NOT a non-profit organization or business; rather, it is a network of volunteers with courage, desire, and a dedication to improve the lives of those that sacrifice for all.
