Jeff Rose has had two distinctive roles in his life: Soldier and Financial Planner. Soldier of Finances combines both of these passions as a way to help people take control of their lives financially. He wasn’t always on top of everything. Having no direction when he graduated high school, he dropped out of college and worked a dead-end job. To get his life back on track, he joined the National Guard in 1977 as an infantryman. He was able to get through college and chose finance as a major. In January of 2005, four years into his career, he got the phone call of a lifetime when he learned his National Guard unit was called to support Operation Iraqi Freedom. It was hard for him to believe, but soon he would transition from  “Weekend Warrior” to combat Veteran. Acquiring the rank of Staff Sergeant, he served as Squad Leader while conducting Military police maneuvers in central Baghdad. Anticipating his return and having already read every John Grisham book ever published, he utilized the rest of his down time for studying and attaining the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM designation. He safely returned home March of 2006 to his loving wife and family. He now dedicates his time to helping Military families stay strong financially. Find out more here. Find more videos here.
