Viral Video: “I Forgot My Phone”

In just 5 days, this short viral video sensation has been viewed over 11 million times.  I’m sure you’ve experienced similar situations, from one perspective or another. Being told to hold on while a friend finishes sending a text, watching a concert through the screen of your phone, feeling like you’re surrounded by paparazzi at your birthday party, and taking advantage of every selfie shot possible…catch the drift? As a culture, we’re inseparable from technology; ever-connected and hyper-sensitive to what’s new online. At the same time, there’s a diminishing connection to human interaction, or at least that’s the message of the video. What are your views?
