Chocolate Toffee Matzo Recipe

We’re looking at a busy holiday weekend coming up! Friday evening kicks off Passover, followed shortly thereafter by¬†Easter Sunday with all of its pastel-covered sweets, egg hunts and mid-afternoon feasts. Since we highlighted a tasty treat for Easter during last week’s What’s Cooking Wednesday, we’re going to share a sweet idea for Passover today!

Martha Stewart really nailed this Toffee Chocolate Matzoh, as if we’re surprised! It seems like everything coming out of Martha’s test kitchen is destined for greatness. Want to test it out for yourself?

Here’s what you’ll need

  • 4 sheets unsalted non-egg matzoh
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 (12-ounce) package semisweet chocolate chips (2 cups)
  • Coarse sea salt
