Recently, while perusing Pinterest, we came across an incredibly easy and tasty looking recipe that caught our attention. Dried strawberries are a healthy alternative to candy, and can be served as a fancy desert or tasty snack.

What you’ll need

  • Strawberries
  • Salt
  • Pepper

How it’s done

  1. Halve or quarter the strawberries
  2. Spread them out on a baking sheet
  3. Sprinkle with salt & pepper
  4. Dry them in the oven at 210 degrees for 3 hours.

Once they’re out of the oven, Saveurs Du Monde suggests they be served with a drizzle of olive oil, balsamic vinegar and basil leaves, with freshly ground pepper.

They could also be dipped in melted chocolate or added to a fondue party platter. Yum!
