If beating long lines and avoiding parking lot nightmares weren’t reason enough to shop online during the holiday season, then maybe this latest news will finally convert you to the church of online shopping.

In case you haven’t heard, online shopping just got a whole lot sweeter for military families. Apple recently launched an online store with discounted products available exclusively to active military personnel and Veterans. Until recently, Apple only offered active military and Veteran discounts on purchases made in their brick-and-mortar stores. Although Apple has had an online store that offers Apple’s education discount for online purchases, military discounts have never been offered by Apple for purchases made online. Until now.

Officially dubbed the Veterans and Military Purchase Plan, active duty servicemembers, Veterans, and their immediate family can enjoy up to 10% off regular retail prices in the new online military storefront. Although the military storefront is similar to that for education, the products available in the military store is much wider. Shoppers can expect to see reduced prices on iPhones, Apple Watches, Apple TV, Bluetooth speakers, AirPods and much, much more.

Apple released this statement following the launch:

At Apple we are deeply grateful to the men and women of our armed forces. We’re proud to offer active military and veterans a new dedicated online store with special pricing as an expression of our gratitude for their brave service.

With discounts of up to 10%, the savings really start to show up when you look at larger ticket items. Yeah, you’re spending more to begin with, but shoppers can expect hundreds of dollars of savings when looking at desktop monitors and laptops. Check out the official Apple military store here and explore everything they have to offer.

We will warn you not to load your cart up too much, though. Sharing is definitely caring, but the site and its discounts are intended for personal use only. So while servicemembers and their families can cash in on the savings, Apple doesn’t want Vets to become the new Apple salespeople in the neighborhood. There are limitations to how many items each customer can buy in one year. So choose wisely.
