This September 15, head on out to Apex, North Carolina, for the 8th Annual Apex Music Festival! Enjoy an all-day extravaganza full of fun for the whole family, including live music, food trucks, and more!

Get ready for a full day of festival fun as Downtown Apex comes alive! Three outdoor — and one indoor — music venues will feature live performances from some of the best local, regional, and national performers spanning nearly all musical genres. Come out and hear one-of-a-kind performances from Shawn Mullins, the Brass-A-Holics, Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road, David Lamonte, and many, many more. You can check out the full line-up and schedule on the festival’s official website.

But it’s not just about the music at the Apex Music Festival. In between sets, make the most of your time and grab some grub. Local food trucks and Downtown Apex’s best restaurants will be ready to serve up some scrumptious meals for any empty stomachs. You will not be disappointed. And make sure you don’t get too thirsty out there. Keep an eye out for beer stations showcasing some of the best local breweries.

There’s sure to be a lot going on all over Apex, but don’t forget to explore Salem Street while you’re down there. Take a break from all of the festival excitement and peruse the shops and boutiques lining the historic heart of Apex.

Just like in previous years, the festival will be hosted by the Apex Downtown Business Association. Part of the proceeds will go towards the ongoing efforts to revitalize and beautify Downtown Apex. Additionally, Guardian Angel Thrift will also receive a portion of the proceeds to help their mission in support of Alzheimer’s research.

Make sure you get there early! SpouseLink’s friends (and co-workers!) from AAFMAA Mortgage Services will be hanging out throughout the festival and joining in on the fun, so stop by and say “hey!” if you see the AAFMAA Mortgage Services booth while you’re out there. And make sure you get to the festival early to see AAFMAA members help raise the stars and stripes to officially kick off the day.

Tickets to the event are $15, but active duty servicemembers and Veterans can receive a discount by contacting the festival.

See you there!

Don’t forget your dancing shoes.
