Need a mental break from gift shopping and have a crafty side you’d like to share? We’ve got 3 DIY gifts you can make for your friends (or even your coworkers). They take only a little bit of time to put together, a handful of supplies and ingredients, and your own sense of creativity.

1)  Lavender Chamomile Tea Soap

If your friend loves Jane Austen’s timeless classical romances (Is that Mr. Darcy we see approaching on his handsome steed at this very moment?), she will likely be enthralled by this deliciously scented lavender soap. A Pumpkin and a Princess has the how-to.

2) Wrapped Monogram

This classic craft can be created using any variety of supplies, from twine to yarn, to ribbon and beyond. Apply some faux or handmade florals or other decorations to finish it off and you’ve got a showpiece that a stylish friend can display on a mantel or hang upon a door. You’ll find the tutorial here.

3) Bacon Jam

Who doesn’t love bacon? (Vegetarians and Vegans, we understand if you must look away.) We suspect you have at least one male friend who would be willing to test-taste this easy-to-whip-up blend for you, if your girlfriends don’t snag it first. Just be prepared to make this one over and over again. Check out the recipe on BlackberryBabe.com.
